The Priestly Fraternity of the Missionaries of St. Charles Borromeo (FSCB) was founded in Rome in 1985 by Fr. Massimo Camisasca and obtained pontifical recognition in 1999. It started with a group of seven priests and ten seminarians but now holds about one hundred priests. Today, the Fraternity is present in over twenty countries such as Canada, the United States, Portugal, Taiwan, Kenya and Russia, its most prominent member being the archbishop of Moscow, Paolo Pezzi. The missionaries are formed in their seminaries located in Rome and in Mexico City.
